How cold can water get?

What's the coldest water can possibly get before it turns into ice?

This is a fun chemistry article from io9.  Seems some scientists from the University of Utah, under the right conditions, got water to sink to well below 32° while still in liquid form. Follow the above link to learn more.

Google data center water treatment plant

WOW! Google Has a water treatment plant?! Should I be excited or worried? It's not like Google ever half-does anything. I am pretty impressed buy the facility, for cooling water it looks like a neat little plant.

Water Changes Everything.

charity: water - Google+

Charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean water to people in developing nations.

100% of donations directly fund water project costs and every water project built is marked on Google Maps so people can see the impact.

In five years we've funded over 4000 water projects that will provide access to clean and safe drinking water to over 2 million people.

I love this cause. I see no better way to help the world then to give water to the people who need it.

Red Cross - Water Purification Device

Wow what a cool little device. I'm glad I have never had the need for such a gadget but in a pinch and surviving during a disaster this sure would be handy. The only problem is still getting this in the hands of people who need them. Would like to hear peoples thoughts on it.

Very funny

Watch "Hardly Working: Trying Water" on YouTube

I swear I feel like this every time people question me for drinking tap water.
